aBOUT THE E-CONTRACTOR ACADEMY

Contractor Readiness & ADU Fundamentals Training (CRAFT) is a FREE 6-week training program for contractors ready to expand their services to include Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) construction in MA. Participants will learn about the ADU market, gain insights into financing and capital for contractors, learn marketing techniques, build skills in estimating and design-build for ADUs, and more.

Who Should Attend?

We encourage applications from:

  • Licensed general contractors, builders, and tradespeople.
  • Businesses that have been in operation for at least 1 year.
  • Established construction businesses in MA, RI, and NH, that primarily serve or are based in under-resourced and low- and moderate-income communities. For example, such communities in MA include, but are not limited to, Gateway Cities such as Chelsea, Everett, Lawrence, Lowell, Lynn, Malden, Quincy, and Revere.
  • Apply even if you don’t meet all of the criteria!

The E-Contractor Academy will enhance your technical and business skills, provide you will knowledge and access to capital and project opportunities, as well as key networking connections.
