aBOUT THE E-CONTRACTOR ACADEMY

The E-Contractor Academy, hosted by Emerald Cities Collaborative, is a free seven-week workshop series designed specifically for minority—and women-owned construction businesses like yours. Our goal is to help you expand and succeed in the green construction industry, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, and building electrification and decarbonization.

Since our first E-Contractor Academy (ECA) in 2018, we’ve successfully trained and supported 90 MWBE contractors across Massachusetts. Throughout the program, you’ll receive valuable training and technical assistance, gain access to project opportunities, and get connected with essential business support professionals such as bonding and insurance agents, accountants, marketing specialists, and legal experts. Additionally, our team can help you connect with banks and small business capital providers.

The E-Contractor Academy in the Northeast is part of a broader national E-Contractor Network at Emerald Cities Collaborative. Since starting in 2013, this network has grown to include over 500 contractors across the country. We’re excited to have you join us and take the next step in your business growth!
