aBOUT THE E-CONTRACTOR ACADEMY

In Person Training

Emerald Cities Collaborative’s E-Contractor Academy is a FREE weekly workshop series that builds technical, financial, and operational capacity with small minority/BIPOC, women, veteran-owned and/or disadvantaged (MWVDBE) construction businesses to successfully do business in climate-critical decarbonization fields such as building electrification, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. 

 

Participants receive training and business support and connect to project opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

wHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Priority will be given to firms with the following characteristics:

  • Licensed contractors in or seeking to expand into electrical, plumbing, and HVAC trades

  • MWVDBEs: Minority/BIPOC-owned, Women-owned, Veteran-owned and/or Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (certification not required)

  • Business revenue $25K – $3M

  • Project scopes up to $1M

  • Owners seeking to grow their residential decarbonization business!
