Francisco Parra Camacho

Curriculum Director (ACES), Southern California

Originally from Mexico, Francisco attended public schools in South Los Angeles before earning a Biochemistry degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Masters in School Leadership. Francisco also holds a Master’s in Educational Innovation from the University of Michigan, focusing on equitable and culturally affirming STEM education. 

 

He brings over twenty years of experience in urban education, including teaching science at both the middle and high school levels, recruiting teachers for LA County Juvenile Halls, and coordinating urban school leadership programs at Cal State University Dominguez Hills. 

 

In his spare time, he enjoys taking nature walks, reading, and watching international soccer matches with family and good food
